This is Malcolm Peralty here from PressTitan and this is The WP Minute, Episode 80
Over on Torque Mag, they have an article that talks about how to select the right host for your WooCommerce powered website. The information on the article is well written, but it can be hard to trust articles like this if you know that Torque Mag is owned by WPEngine, a managed WordPress web host but it was written by someone that basically works at another web host.
I don’t know why any one person would ever need this article, except maybe to get the basics of WordPress troubleshooting under their belt, but WPBeginner has posted the 40 most common WordPress issues and how to resolve them. Most of the instructions to fix issues require you to read another post somewhere else on their site, but it is interesting to see common issues all put together in a list like this. There should almost be some kind of Bingo board for them as I’d likely win…
Lastly, we have an update on ClassicPress, the upcoming fork of WordPress. It looks like their first release will come out sometime this upcoming week. It will have the codename Sunrise, and while I’m not sure exactly what it will include, some of the tickets really just seem to be about getting their feet under them, removing some things from the base WordPress distribution that aren’t needed and changing the name from WordPress to ClassicPress in more than a few places.
That’s it for today’s WP Minute, thank you all for watching.
